i played the demo and was unimpressed. its TOCA meets PGR. ive heard the online play sucks because everybody and their mother drives like theyre retarded, but what racing game doesnt have that problem

I think the physics feel more like a car than Forza. The throttle is a little tricky to get used to as its a little touchy compared to other games. Plus the game looks great IMO. Not very many gripes here.
Also, IMO the demo didn't really do much for the game...

(update) I've had the game for awhile now...Only thing I don't like is that you can't mod the cars like you can in Forza, however, online gameplay is fucking sweet beings most of the cars are fairly equal...Therefore it's the "driver" that makes the difference in racing, not the amount of time tuning the car. Fun if you just wanna play a game or two online and dick around...if you're more serious about racing games...stick with forza

I have Forza2 and have played the demo for Grid and I agree with a few of you saying that Grid is more of an arcade style racer. Grid seemed like it'd be fun but the lasting factor wouldn't be nearly as good as Forza2. Forza series is way better for a real car enthusiasts.
