Re-booted computer tonight, no desktop picture and have a warning instead of background pict

Spyware threat has been detected on your computer
your computer has several fatal errors do to spyware activity
then it has a link to click,

ran a scan, a few odd things but still on desktop

ok whatever it was just somehow changed my picture to that. So where do I find it and delete??

run avg, run an adware program, and run a spyware program. the link you posted is actually adware/spyware that sends you to a site to "get rid" of adware/spyware. ain't that some shit?

you should get Windows Defender. It's a free download from microsoft.com.

It runs by default on Vista machines.

I don't use any anti-spyware, anti-virus, or 3rd party security products on any of my computers. But I'm pretty clued into how most of the nasty stuff works and gets around, so I've not been hit yet.
