More deterrence to street racing.
-
North Carolina has gotten tough on illegal street racing, and the law has changed. If convicted of the most serious charge of prearranged street racing, perpetrators will now lose their license for 3 years instead of 1, and you'll get to see the agency that caught you keep your car PERMANENTLY as deterrence to racing, even if you're still paying on it. You'll be held responsible to keep making the payments, even if it's seized. Not a risk I personally would be willing to take, to see the car I've worked on for 17 years all of a sudden have a light bar on top and PD stickers all over it or used for the D.A.R.E. program just for a stupid street race.

Link has 4 YouTube links on it, and there was 2 Mustangs (SN95 and Fox with Saleen wing) and a red Pontiac Firebird/Transam corralled in this sting, they were dumb enough to shut down the Interstate to race (sound like F&F to anybody else???)
