I don't think people on here hate Almer or Ethan, etc. It says something when I hear riders complain about certain individuals that tag along and fuck around for no reason, do wheelies w/ passengers with no protective gear, etc and I'm not even in the same circles, yet I still hear of it.
And before you go saying 'well every group has it's knuckleheads', yes, you're right, just like this site does, and they ruin it for everyone else. But you're almost coming across in a manner that leads me to believe that you think all riders are innocent angels that never fuck around on the street and present a potential risk to someone not wanting to be involved.

I just think the wheelies were pretty nice.
It's not like some four-wheeled drivers don't drive like dumbasses either.

the nice thing about generalizations is that they're generally true but butt-hurt some individual who claims that he/she doesn't fit the mold.
that's fine, here's a cookie for your behavior.
my impression is that 90% of riders i see in fargo are dipshits. They fall into one of two basic categories:
-
highschool whitehat dipshit riding around in a t-shirt on a superbike, optionally with jail-bait ass-jewelry. this guy is prone to revving for no good reason, hitting 70mph on university, etc
-
hilljack on harley or other cruiser bike. this guy doen't have turn signals because he has deafening fucking pipes on his financed motorcycle that has such bullshit 1917 engine technology that it manages to be slower than a minivan. this guy changes lanes infront of you because he's A Big BadAss and you had better just deal with it.
That said, when I see the rare guy in leathers and helmet, I'm thrilled when he opens it up a bit when the roads are empty, or when he drops a knee heading towards an apex. That's a guy that knows what he's doing, has appropriate situational awareness, and is out to ride instead of out to be seen. I don't mind people enjoying a drive/ride as long as they're demonstrating some thinking ability and discretion.

Many young riders are simply idiots. A few examples I've seen since Monday of young riders being stupid...
*Last night my wife and I passed a guy on the I-94 bridge over the Red River on a sport bike with no gear reading somethign on his cell phone.
*I was at Dairy Queen in Moorhead on Tuesday night. A pack of sport bikes came to the stop light across the street on north bound 8th street. At a light that just turned red with all bikes at a stop, they proceeded to rev their bikes over and over and over and over and over and over.
*I was on Main on Monday night heading east. A young "badass" on a Harley flies by our car at least 20mph over the speed limit and stops at the light on the east side of I-29. The light turns green and he does a burnout at the stoplight. What a badass.
I just think it's funny how starved for attention some of these kids are. Hey, hey, over here, look over here, over here, look, look at me, over here, come on, over here, I'm the one on the motorcycle, over here, look, look, look...

Maybe about 75%. There are a ton of people riding while texting without a helmet, jacket, gloves, anything. They're asking for pain.
On the other hand, it's not like every four-wheeled driver is a patron saint always obeying the rules of the road. I'm sure they don't text, eat or talk on their phones while driving either. /rolls eyes

Lol. So now everyone needs to wear leathers when out for a Sunday cruise or when driving to the store or else they'd be classified in the "only out to be seen group"?

Yes, they are both wrong and potentially dangerous and even fatal, but to compare texting on a motorcycle to texting in a car is completely stupid (just like the cunt who typed it). :icon_salut:

^This coming from a guy who was speeding through a construction zone with workers present. Nice try at being holier-than-thou, chump.
Your just a plain fuckin' idiot.
Lol @ hypocrisy again.
There is a difference between texting on a motorcycle and texting in a car.
Care to break the differences down for us?

Wheres the video of Sit down steve (i believe it is) who rode wheelies on the interstate with no front end?
