Hey for those of you that would rather not leave the country for the 4th of july or are bored of detroit lakes, there is a drift event in elko, mn. It is in the cities. It is held by the guys from clubfr.com and a lot of very good drivers from d-town.us. There are a few locals here that are goin to particapate and some to just spectate but it should be a fun weekend. Just figured I would give u all another alternative for that weekend...

Drift Day 22 registration is now up again.... DD22 will take place (for the first time) at Elko (Mashtown) Speedway in minnesota don't ya know. This event will be a half drift day, but don't fret you still get the same amount of run time! This drift day will take place from Noon to 4PM, and since it is half the time it is half the registrants to give everyone time to run.

If you have yet to see Elko (Mashtown), it is a double oval course, the outer oval is 3rd gear banked and the inner oval is 2nd gear flat. The middle of the course is open pavement.

We will be running on a time base, each driver will receive 1.5 to 2 minutes on the course, one driver at a time unless you are an advanced driver.

Instructors will be on hand all day, feel free to ask them for assistance if you want it.

Preceding DD22 Elko (Mashtown) will be hosting a special 4th (actually 5th) of July Eve of Destruction. Check out Elko (Mashtown)'s website for me details on it, but some of the midwests best will be demoing during this event so stick around and cheer us on!

Well as of today the registration is full which means there will be 20 "drifters" at the event from mn/chicago/fargo. It should be interesting to watch.
