    im looking into making a couple little gadgets and im wondering if someone can show/explain a 555 timer to me. i think ive pretty much figured them out but i just wanna know that im doing it right.

    so any of you electrical engineers out there wanna help a brother out?

          Ive made some pretty basic circuits with them before, but it helps to know what your planned use is. A 555 is a fairly stable timed circuit if you use the right parts. I have made ocilating led flashers and light sensetive relay controllers with them.
