what exactly is ping?

well least you guys dont have a dumb @#$% of a controller like we do here at work..we have a 8mb connection and today the best speed test I had today was 687 down 800 up..so I tell her to get someone out here to fix it and she said well we will wait till it crashes before I call anyone...so then I told her to let me look at it and she said no...so everyone is pissed that the net is so damn slow

ping is at test that you run in cmd prompt to check a connection...it will show the time it takes to travel to the ip given
