but at least ford doesnt lie about their slogans. They really are like rocks...big piles of dense matter recycled into something useful.

The other prob my dad had w/ his chevy was the tranny. He went thru 3 in 2 years hauling a 6 cow stock trailer. Since he moved to Ford, he has a bigger (not sure of the capacity, but 27') stock trailer and the tranny is running perfect. I'm more of a GM guy myself, but ford makes a great pickup for hauling/towing. Guess that's why they are the #1 selling pickup for the last several years.

agreed ford trucks are awesome for towing got a 91 ford f-350 duely at home and that thing is a beast have a four horse gooseneck trailer empty the thing is over 10,000 pounds so full its at least another 5,000 on top of that so yeah i would say that fords are made for towing

Hey Tina come get some hamm

the ford truck we have SUCKS for towing....it pulls my car shitty as hell....

so i stick to the JEEP!...5 star trail and off road rated...and can pull a DSM to the shop everytime it breaks down...which is every other month.

I always wondered if the little driving lights on a chevy were supposed to only have one on at a time. Ive actually never seen a chevy like that have both of them lights on.

so i was driving up north today for a job interview.. and i happened to get behind 2 different trucks that didnt have working brake lights. since it was so slippery i almost rear ended both of them because i couldnt tell they were braking until i was almost right on them. is it some new 'thing' where if you disconnect your brake lights youre cool? or are there actually that many people in town that have lights that dont work?

                            Glad your ok. No accident!

Didnt you see them slowing down? forget the brake lights. Dont take this the wrong way. Doesnt seem like your were paying attention and your were following to close. Just like a said in the other thread. It's winter time leave some distance atleast 2-3 cars for stopping. I kinda sound like a soccer dad. But im in my early 20's!
