I am really making some progress lately, i need to stop!
Saturday, installed WB O2, redid exhaust some and tucked it up another 1.25". Lots of clearance now. Also cut rear springs and got the ride height down some, looks mean as hell now.
Sunday, got the pump gas tune a bit closer, 10psi and 9-10 degrees timing on 89 octane.
Monday, new front brake pads, cleaned up the wiring under the dash some and put the bottom panels on so i quit getting my feet tangled in the WBO2 wires.
Tuesday, new tint for free! The guy who does it here owed me some labor so i got educated on how to tint and it turned out pretty good. 5% on the back and 50% on the door glass. Would like 35% on the doors and its pretty clear yet, but hey, this is legal. Less the cops have to pull me over the better.
Today, finished the pump gas tune, drove the gas out and fillled with E85. also E85 FTMFW, i am completely out of fuel pump now. I am even running it with no boost reference to get a little more volume and that is running my injector duty cycle up as well. Currently im at 20 degrees timing and 11psi, that should be up around the 600whp area. Got rid of the dead spot on tip-in as well and improved spoolup about 300rpm. I can now get 9psi on the footbrake as well at 32-3400rpm.
And finally, i bought a full set of used digital guages off ebay for $75 shipped. Those will be going in when i get time again.
Oh, and after being in and out about 15 times, my TTY crank bolt decided it wouldnt stay tight anymore and fell out sometime in the past 3 days. Need to get a new one from the dealer i guess, oops!
Hope everything is ready for the 17th, im gonna need a mid 10 to smoke that black trans am!
BTW, i scaled it again tonight, its 3740lbs with me in and 7/8ths tank of fuel. I think thats pretty good
