Motorcycle Accident in GF today
-
So, I was coming from the Alerus Center to 32nd Ave and right at the Super Stop (I think that is the gas station on the corner there) I see an ambulance, fire truck, 20 bystanders and one FUCKED UP motorcycle. As I'm pulling up I see what I think is a stretcher being carted to the nearby ambulance with the sheets pulled over the accident victim....again, I think that the sheets were pulled over, indicating a death...after the stretcher was loaded the ambulance didn't move for at least 3 minutes, again, making me think it was a death. The bike was a blue Yamaha R1. The front forks & handlebars were completely dislocated from the bike. Anyone know who this was? I feel for him as I don't think it was his fault based on where the bike was and where the damaged car was.

ahh...good deal that he wasn't killed. It looked bad and the brief image I had of the stretcher and the amount of first responders had me worried.

yes the guy was max, used to ride with him up in GF. he called me today ad told me what had happened, i guess it was three 16 year old girls in a ford taurus and they were pulling out of the meards parking lot ad didnt look to the left. he hit the front driverside tire and was thrown from the bike adout 15 to 20 feet. he said the driver of the car was cited and he was not. hes pissed cause he only had 997 miles on the bike and now its totaled. he has some cuts on his leg and 8 stitches on his elbow but hes doin ok.
