Tuned! About Damn Time! Woot!

Well i finally made it back over to the cities and got tuned on tuesday. i ran into alot of problems last time i was down there and ended up just wasting time. finally got everything dialed in and it runs great!

I made 320 hp / 265 tq at <u>18.5 psi</u> on a MUSTANG DYNO on E85.

car rips! its definatly alot of fun, and traction owns me to 100 in 3rd. it was loving reving out and more boost but i ended up lifting the head at 320 so we had to stop. im running 12 psi on the street now but im fixing to up the ante pretty soon here once i figure out the head lifting issue.

if i get a chance to make it back down i think im gonna change the head studs and gasket and try and up it a litte. But definatly alot of fun! heres a teaser pic, i have alot more of it on the dyno but i cant upload them at work! holla!

oh and you have to love that sick nasty blue color the MSG manifold turned. got alot of compliments in the cities.

That manifold looks sick. I love it.

W/ coloration like that the motor is running very hot and more then likely lean. Id recheck your AF ratios unless it was already colored previous to the tune.

I thought thats just the way stainless looked after heating up and cooling down... The header on my 3g turned that color and it just had I/H/E and was definitely running a bit on the rich side.

Ron would have been checking the whole time, and he has a wideband permanently installed so he can watch it the whole time.

it got that color before the tune. the street tune leaned out a bit and gave it alot of color on my interstate trips.

ha im going to try and make it out to the track but idk. without slicks its going to be pretty pointless. maybe another 14.3 this time at 115? lol.

its got arps torqued to 65 ft lbs. i just retorqued them the other night when i got back. but i was thinking yesterday that when i did it the engine was pretty hot. im gonna let it cool waaay down and retorque them to 70 like in the morning or something
