New for 2009 Crx build thread!

So as most of you know the bottom end in the crx is toast, so it's time to upgrade! I figured it would be about that time to make a build thread about it again. This one will be moving slow, I'm working 70 hour weeks at the moment. I will try to keep it updated with my progress.

Lets start off with some old photo's of my crx to refresh your minds..

Now that you know what my car looks like again, it's time to start the build. Today I got it home, washed and waxed the body then started getting the motor preped to get pulled.

Here is the new motor, it will just be a stock B16a3 with a ITR LSD tranny, Exedy S1 clutch, and for the rest we will have to see how much money I end up spending on my turbo Integra:P

New motor;

Goal's for next year;
-New baller wheels
-J's Racing valve cover
-91 front bumper w/J's lip
-D2 coilovers
-New motor
-Some more body work done
-Repainted engine bay

there aren't many CRXs i like but yours is definatley one of them clean build :icon_thumleft:

God is just trying to tell you to not go slow......i think it needs a turbo.....and you are going hydro trans then??

That should look good bryce, but imo i think you should stay away from the D2 coilovers. i would look at omni power.

ITR trans is only hydro...

Get your train wrecking DSM talk out of my thread. Pm ecother for christ sakes.

Trevor I'm 100% converting to hydro. However I don't plan on turboing the crx any time soon, I would like to keep it N/A and set up for autocross.

On that note I am working on building a nasty turbo drag car this winter. I wish you were here to help!
