It doesn't work not sure why may just need oil or the pump rebuilt.
I haven't used it in several years. It's going in the garbage if no one wants it.

yea take it back to sears and they will give you a new one.

They only have a lifetime warranty on hand tools. Jacks and power tools only come with a year warranty.

to hell with that.. i took a jack in after the pump went out and got a brand new one, and the jack was 3yrs old.. also i took a 5yr old torque wrench in and got a new one, they only have a 1 year warranty. they key is bitching! works everytime

This jack is probably 5 years old and I doubt they still make it. I never really liked it in the first place so even if I had a brand new one I wouldn't use it.
