So how many of you have parked them for the winter?

I apparently need to invest in leathers... or at minimum a good set of cold weather gloves. Did find one pair I really liked but they were about $100 more than I wanted to spend right now.
Actually gonna go see if the pig will even start. Buddy said his was a crapshoot any time it got around 45*.

I recall a guy a couple years ago riding ALL winter, even when it stormed.DAMN that's crazy.:icon_salut:Yeah that's Mr. Healy. He was my 8th grade science teacher and rode his motorcycle to work everyday he could.
My Sv is parked in my garage waiting for me to get back in December and give it an oil change and then recover it.

happened to be back around home yesterday so I decided to ride to work after lunch. Still a little cold for the gear I have.
Too damn cold in the mornings, very little time after work before it gets cold, and I'm probably going to be out of town for harvest every weekend until snowfall. Going to 'try' to make it 58 miles home between rain showers this afternoon to park it for the year.

I'm still waiting for one last decently warm day for a ride. Then I'll probably put it away for the winter, or put it up for sale.Yesterday would've been a great riding day before it got real windy. Little pissed considering I took the afternoon off work Friday and rode the first 23 miles (of 58) in rain to get it back home to park it for the winter.
Might still take it out a couple times when I'm back home for harvest if it's a nice day - otherwise I'm done for the year.

Yeah this winter + flooding thing pretty much fucks up our whole spring/summer. There's a lot of bikes out already. They need to be more careful than what I've seen today.yeah, plenty of guys out riding already. I'd be leery until they get the streets swept personally.
None the less, hopefully I can get stuff ordered next week and get it ready to ride. Should have the next couple of weekends free so I can get it done.
Hurry up and get it done so I can make sure its going to run fine again this year which means I can buy a car instead of a new bike.
