    weight class is gonna get hard to determine too though because then youll have to rely on everyone to have thier car weighed. unless sabin has a scale i am unaware of... Its gonna be hard to keep the number of classes down no matter what i think.

      I'd prefer to see indexed racing like RF import days.

      8.0->9.0
      9.0->10.0
      10.0->11.0
      11.0->12.0
      12.0->13.0
      13.0->14.0
      14.0->15.0
      15.0->FUCK YOU ARE SLOW

      There will be a million cars in the 15.0 and slower class which should be competitive and fun for those people. Run 3 "trial" passes to figure out your index. Write index on window and off you go, don't run faster than the index or you are out. First person to the end of the track w/out going faster than their index is the winner. Repeat until there is only one left per index class.

      Also, this is NOT bracket racing. If you run 11.2 -> 11.5 all day you run in the 11.0 index. Someone might have run 11.000000 all day and they can decide to either run the 10.0 index or the 11.0 index. If they choose to run the 10.0 index they have to realize they'll be running heads up against much faster cars.

      EDIT
      Awards points to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in their respective index. 6 pts to first, 4 to second, 2 to third. Person with the highest points total at the end of the year wins the "year" award. If someone runs one class half a year and does a bunch of mods and moves up their index their points reset. Slicks, street tires, whatever, run what ya brung.

        you would have to weigh them with a portable during tech, or it would be hearsay just as HP would

          that seems like fun competition

          so completely heads up in your index..... just don't break out of your index???

            Hell...do it GSR's way then have the class winners bracket race (single elim) at end of day to see who is the most consistent....let the bikes run with them too.

              Ya, i like GSRS idea.. When you say if your in the 11.0 class or whatever and you run a 10 are disqualified does that mean that you would not qualify at all or would it just exempt you from the 11 class and bump you into the 10

                After 3 time trials and choosing your index if you run faster than the base index time you lose.

                  I would leave the bikes out of it since they've already got their own thing going.

                            i would say run them like they do in rock falls. unless you suck at sandbagging lol it would be competitive.

                              So if your run 11.1 for your index. then get a 10.9 you lose?

                              why cant you just bump them up a class?

                                  Because that's not how the index works. You don't move up a class during competition. You choose your index and run within that index trying to go rounds to win that index for the day. If you're running close to the low end of the index all day and you're on a fast pass and break out, you didn't play the index right and should have moved up a class before you started eliminations.

                                        In ireland, they do there classes as like:
                                        1.4L or less F/I and 1.8L N/A or less and 15's or slower
                                        1.8l or less F/I and 2.2L N/A or less and 14's and slower
                                        etc....so if you are faster, you get bumped up to the next class with the bigger cars, so it is kind of based on engine size, whether it is F/I or N/A, and the times. I can get you there exact brackets if you would like, but it seems to work. Obviously it would have to be modified for US engine sizes, but a good idea to start at maybe...
