I got a head core sent out to head games for some machining :icon_geek: (i think i spelt that wrong). I sent it out with....

It is also getting ferrea guides and seals.

I am getting the engine ready for this

DTM manifold
DTM V-band down pipe/dump tube
Precision Dual ball bearing 50-trim, at some wierd hybrid spec

But Im still waiting on pistons, rods, bearings, an evo 9 head gasket, cams, and L19s. but those should be in next weekish i hope.

I dont know yet. I am only going to run about 25-27 psi, but it should be able to handle 30 safely.

so numbers are something im not to sure, or concerned about yet. the bottom end still needs to be built and i have a 1200 mile break in, before i worry about power characteristics.

Yea, i opted for a coated manifold because evo's have sweet ricer vented hoods. and those vents just happen to be over the manifold.

Hey zac nice to see you are playing with ur EVO!!! Should be a fun car when your done.. But as it seems when is a car ever done? What 1/4 mile, hp are you shooting for? What brand Suspension did you go with?

Why did you send your head off ? Is it getting ported? or just springs and retainers? What cams did you buy?

Why didnt you contact SLS for your Manifold and Downpipe?

I donk know if you heard But I got my Evo running the other night.. Sounds like our cars should make about the same power...
