I got these old school Volks on my car and they spin true, are cool to me and are already staggered. The negatives are that they are scratched to shit, the decals are not in good shape, missing 2 center caps and 3 cap retaining nuts. So here's my dilemma... I have 2 choices as to what to do here.

    1. Clean them up and sell em for what I can get as they are which isnt going to be much and use them towards something else.

    2. Completely refinish them... Repaint the center spokes to match the gold on the bottom of my car and polish the lips.

If I do #2, I will not have any of the "Volk Racing" logos anywhere on the wheel detracting from any value they have now and they will not be "OG" anymore.

Chime in as to what you think.

You might be able to get Volk stickers...

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

Ya i was gonna say go find some stickers if you really want the volk label on there, or make a stencil..... I'd have to go the #2 though too. can't go wrong with Volks unless you can afford some new one

How about just buy them and refinish them to what you want?

make an offer and to refinish would be to sane the centers down to repaint and re polish the lips. not hard just a lil time consuming but winter is coming so there will be plenty of time to do so.

ya 17's. They are staggered but im unaware of the offsets or widths.
Here's a pic to show the difference in stagger.

Offsets and width should be on the inside of the wheel I believe...

i would sell them, I think you could find a better looking wheel, that you would be happy with. If you were completely happy with the style you wouldnt have posted this.

I say pull them off and give em to jason, have the centers done gold like you say, polish the rest and put em back on. If you dont like em then sell them but i think they will look awesome for minimal cash outlay. Then you can spend that $ on some phat tires and be way happier

If it were me, i'd prep them for new paint, find some volk racing stickers, and then paint the wheels to whatever color is needed, apply the stickers and then clear coat over them. But imo, i don't think those rims really look real great on your car, i like the stagger though. however with them painted to match that might make them look a lot better on there. <---- again just my opinion. 🙂
