I usually put groceries in the trunk but if you want to put them in the back seat...I think the trunk is the optimum place for groceries, if you put them in the back seat it throws your weight distribution all out of whack. At the very most, the only groceries that should be in the cabin is bread, eggs or maybe a soda or candy bar to drink or eat on the way home, and then they should only be in the front seat next to the driver.

nah the tracer was made by ford, altough it shares the same platform as the mazda protege lx, and the ford escort. ford bought the motors from mazda for the escort gt, escort lx-e, and the tracer lts. the normal escort and tracer came with 1.9 liter ford sohc motors. because as you said they were only partners at the time.
