im probably getting layed off in a couple weeks, for a month or so until the shop i work at get some buisness. i really like my job and dont want to find a new one. i was wondering how unemployment works? its not that im lazy and dont want to work but it would be nice to have some time to work on my car, and get some things done that are way overdue in my life. is there i certain amount of time you needed to be working full time, because i have only worked there since school ended last year. thanks

i have a job, but we will be likely closing down for a month until we get buisness. i just dont want to go through the hassle of applying at a bunch of other places and by the time id get hired id already be hired back at my job.

go to jobsnd.com. go into job service, they can help you with your claim. if you work full time i am pretty sure you qualify. the sooner you get the claim done the better since there are waiting periods and such. they can answer all your questions

Thats a good starting point. I know how you feel Bp. I went into work sunday night and they told us that we were let go due to the economy.

yea it sucks but my work told me it'll only be for a month or so. good luck with your situation also. the bad economy is finally hitting hard up here. and for you d-bags, hook me up with a good paying job for a month and i wont have to file unemployment.
