At the track today (spectator)

1/8th mile racing. I was at the end of the track. Car in the far lane crosses over hit the wall almost head on full throttle 200' in front of me. Guy videoing was 10' feet in front of me and the track. I was at the fence about 30' from the barriers. Anyways car breaks the wall comes flying up, I stood there about 1/2 second and shit goes flying, doors hood radiator, about that time I dove behind the car. I thought the cameraman was going to get nailed. Anyways here's a couple picts. Also at the end of first round of elims. a car ran a 4.3x and throttle didn't close, too dark to see what happened but the car went up in flames. When I find video I'll post it up

On a side note..... rumor has it that you will be racing instead of test and tuning in 2009!
Care to elaborate? Or is it just rumor?Have fun being warm, but you still have to come home to cold!
Maybe yo can convince Matt & Dave to compete in 2009 as well.
Not like they can go a round but it will be "cool" for them to compete right?Flame on bitches!

I like how you call it "compete" and not "race". Very appropriate as I don't really think bracket racing is really "racing". But anyway, we've gone to a MWB meeting and we are going to travel and run with those guys this year. We'll still go to ISD a few times, not sure if we'll tnt or run brackets when there.
I pm'd Mark and talked a little about pistons. Some guy named Shawn was suppose to call me and talk about whether their piston are strong enough for what we are doing. Haven't got a call yet. I've been talking to a guy at JE about getting some higher compression slugs, I'll prob go that route.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall
Torque is how far you take the wall with you -

Going back down in a couple weeks. Maybe again in March. I may run up to Bradento to watch an NMRA event.
I will probally still be testing for a while, who have you been talking to??
