We've done the highway pull thing a lot. The reason why you may miss that is because we never really invite anyone out to do it. It draws too much attention if there are ricers around trying to be cool/fast with everyone else. I remember specifically one time a summer or two ago, Zac and I were going to race someone I knew in a Vette on the freeway and like 30 17sec cars followed us...

In other words, freeway racing isn't a spectator sport.

There used to be racing from a dig out of town, but there just isn't as many responsible people anymore...everyone thinks they have to rice to be cool. When in reality, just shut the fuck up, listen to the "seniors" of the scene, and when its time to put up, run what ya brung. Don't be a liability, and things may start to get better.

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

Those were the days. It was about the time the bonzos started showin up when it all went down hill.

I happen to remeber a certain someone at the start or finish line with their laptop runnin numbers one of the last times we did that. Then the cops showed up.

dont take this as me feeling bad for you or feeling like we are connecting on a deeper level as "freinds" through something we have in common. you're still useless.
