Thanks for all the kind welcomes guys.
Just for kicks n giggles, this is the my dsm I just sold a few weeks ago. I haven't had it in fargo too often, but you may have seen it.

The plan is, in a few years to have the subie just as "clean" looking in the next couple of years. Like I said though, I'm not planning on even trying to make this motor fast. I see very little hope in making na motors quick.

I remember that car. Bad ass....(for a DSM)lol thanks. With a nice set of coilovers and a sweet set of wheels, maybe a v5/v6 front bumper, the subie might be as "badass." Right now the subie just looks so ug idk, lacking aggressiveness

Hey brian! welcome again! sweet ride you have!

I think you are crazy Brian, that thing is sharp. I do so love a nice green car, the wheels make cringe, but just a little.
Welcome... again? Not a fan of the goldies? They're actually just the stock wheels. I'm thinkin about all black wheels for summer but idk.

Welcome again......i guess

A swap....Yup, I mentioned that earlier in the thread. I just don't wanna do the swap till I'm outa school and have a more steady income. If I swap it, I'm gunna have to go sti over wrx just because if I'm gunna drop that much money I might as well spend the little extra and get the more powerful motor.

i like the goldies on it.

I even read that part, good point tho on not messing with the motor too much, it'll just end up being a waste and you won't get your investment back.
STi block is also better because it is semi-closed I believe(if you are talking about the EJ257), the power thing is a less of a concern as most of it is made with boost/turbo anyway...

I like that car, and the dsm as well. Welcome aboard, again

Yup, I mean you can make na motors quick, but what's the point when you can spend a little money and go turbo and make way more power and have much more potential. I really like the idea of swapping a stock motor into the car and gaining power. That way I keep some of the reliability as well

Anyways, I'm purposely not looking into what it takes to do a swap just yet because I know I'll probably just start buying little parts here and there if I do. I'm just gunna enjoy the slow car for a while and beef up the suspension a little. Thanks again for the kind welcome (again) guys! I'm sure I'll be meeting some of ya this summer!

I think an n/a 2.5 with just ridiculous suspension would be a hell of a lotof fun
