Do you think a 1980 CB900 will beat a 1982 v45 magna 750cc?

My friend is going to be driving his dad's cb900 and i think my v45 can take him but i am not completely sure cause he has a bigger bike but i heard its more for cruising but what do you think would win in a race?

The magna for sure, the 80's cb's were heavy as fuck and underpowered for how big the engines were.

What I meant was... The same weight rider, identical riding abilities, same weather conditions, etc. Where it was just up to the bikes themselves. If ALL THOSE THINGS WERE EQUAL, the V45 should outperform the CB900.

can you believe i lost a race when i raced my v45 magna vs. a cbr 600 my engine later i found out was only running on 3 cylinders and he beat my by 4 seconds

No I always win races by running on fewer cylinders than my ride has, few people know this but Dave and Matt only us 4 of their 6 cylinders.
