Wanna Get Rid of Games You Don't Play?
-
Well, I can't remember if I have mentioned this in any other threads or anything so I figured I would just make one explaining what how to do this.
I have used this a couple times now and I love it a lot. What you do is you make an account on the site, type in the UPC at for a video game/Book/DVD that you simply do not want or play a whole lot and you would be willing to swap for something else. After you enter in what games/books/DVD's you have you just take some time and filter through the list of items other people have posted up and make a "Want" list. After you get all the stuff on there that you want, then you can start initiating trades with people. For instance I had posted up that I have PG4 for 360 and that I wanted Forza 2. Someone clicked that they would like to swap, I accepted, and it was a done deal. All I had to do was ship out my item as well as the other person. So when it's all said and done; all you really have to 'pay' for is shipping to where ever your game is going to.
Like I said, I have used it a couple times now and I plan on using it a lot more to cycle out games I don't play for some that I will. Just thought I would pass on the knowledge and let you guys swap some games for virtually free.
Also, if someone wants to do this shoot me a PM and ill send you a referral so that we can get free shipping on our next items. Win.

Is there anything they do to protect you from sending your game and the person not sending one back? I would hate to lose a game and not get the one I wanted in returnFAQ

What happens if I don't receive an item that I traded for?**
First of all, make sure that you simply aren't being impatient. Although 95% of the time Media Mail is only slightly slower than regular first class mail - most items arrive in four or five days - the post office suggests that you always allow at least 10-14 days for an item to arrive. If you still haven't received your item after 14 days, you should first contact the other trader to see what happened. Simply go to "My Trades" page and click on the "contact the user shipping this item to you" link under the item that you are receiving. Just ask the other user "I was wondering when you sent the item?" and usually they'll let you know that your item is en route.
If you have already contacted the other user, and the issue still could not be resolved, you should then report the missing item to Swaptree. To do this, go to "My Trades" and click on "contact user" link again. On the contact user page, you will now see a link that says "formally report this missing item to swaptree". Simply follow the quick steps, and we will research the issue and contact the other user to see what happened.

How does shipping work?...when you complete a trade e.g. everyone accepts. It will say Ship your item to _______ and then you...do that. They want your card number so if you try and scam people and such.Like i have been saying, read the FAQ's.
alright.. makes sense.. im always hesitant about giving out my cc number lol

so i tried setting up my credit card info.. i tried a visa debit and a mastercard credit card. it says the credit card info u entered is invalid.. i emailed the site and it says it can take 2 days or so for them to get back to me... kinda retarded they dont have a number i can call to get this straightened out,

so the support for the website got back to me.. it was an autoresponse email.. kinda worthless. i ended up figuring out the issue on my own... im shipping out my game tomorrow and will let everyone know how it goes...im curious to see myself how long it will take to get the game im trading for lol

so i am involved in a 3 way trade, both parties have been quick to respond, i shipped out my game and am waiting to receive my game in return

I just completed a 3-way trade one week ago. I got my new game last night. I had no problems and it went smoothly. I was kinda leery at first about, but since it seemed legit, I gave it a try and am very impressed. This is way better than trading a game into game stop and only getting a third of its value.

my 3 way trade went awesome.. quick responses from both parties and i got my game today, only took 3 days or so. i would recommend this. and already have.
