insurance or not the law would fine him for letting an unlicensed driver operate his vehicle, but she would still be liable for any damages to the vehicle being she was operating it at the time...i let plenty of people test drive cars off the lot, but if they crash they're responsible(same concept)

no, i wouldnt think so, because it was his personal vehicle, cars off the car lot are driven by people who have licenses.
