I wouldn't go with those wheels, but different strokes for different folks, I guess.

Those cars can be incredibly badass with very little invested. I got the chance to be carted around in a ~500whp Snake and my god, the sounds they make and they torque they produce are sickening and intoxicating.

I have an unorthodox suggestion, Do suspension mods. The car is wicked fast, and it would be much more fun to drive with better handling.

its a 99 Cobra its ok fast it is totally stock right now the engine producing 320hp whats crazy about the car the end of 2nd gear is 80mph

FR500s were my plan eventually - but maybe not anymore.

but a decent mid range 275/40/18 will run about $290 and a 295/40/18 (I think it was) runs $300.
The 'good' Michelin 315/30/18 tires for a 10.5" wheel run about $460/each.
