Eh, any miata owners around here?

I think, and I'm not sure, as I say Think that I saw a green mica NA (1990-1997) Miata cruising down 13th ave south the other day, all I can't remember for sure is the color, but I thought it was green. pretty clean looking car, had that silly ricer exhaust from Corcksport I think, had a very sharp looking front bumper, I want to say, maybe Racing Beat Type II, and then the Naca-duct on his headlights. Oh, and of course, the best part is he had a hardtop as well. Very sharp looking car , just a bit loud for my taste.
I know there are a few out there, just don't see anyone on here, and I doubt there is much coagulation amongst Miata guys out here, and their should be. Or, roadster fella's in General. 350z's and S2k's can come play , too.

I think Miatas are so few and far between around here, it would be more like you playing in their realm. Most Miata owners have a car to drive it because they enjoy it. I used to cruise in my car all the time. I have figured out recently that its a waste of gas, and I enjoy working on my car and racing my car, but daily driving it really isn't very comfortable. I don't even know if I'll register it this year or not. -

I saw you with your flashy yellow flood T-shirt on the dome floor the night of the marathon for the flood party thing...........
Now I realize that I have not seen you in person for probably two years..........
But seriously, how the fuck do you even manage to get into the miata??

Its not too bad since your in. But now that its slammed, getting in and out is the main annoyance, You basically have to roll out on the ground to get out and I always hit my head on my hardtop getting in. I love the car and its treated me (I've put 12,00 miles on in 1.5 summers. but its pretty much a race car for me now. I might put it i a few shows once I get my stuff I just ordered... but who knows how long that will take to get here.

No there needs to be a fe3 miata.I agree on that one. I don't get why the swap is not more popular. My favorite was a friend of mine in Cali's, he had an NA with a n/a FE3, blast to drive. Its either an FE3 swap or a 10k stroker build up of a BP to get 200hp n/a in a Miata. If you search Miata.net or Miataturbo.net there is a few FE3 miatas out there, one guy, danny, made 373whp on a gt3071 FE3 in a 94 or so. Great car, but it went cold a few years back, no idea what happened to it.
However, dynamics aside, turbo Miata's are freaking fun.
On the seat thing, Joel was going to do me a favor and hook up some rails to bolt a seat in, but then got busy, so no worries.
I guess I'm headed to Cali early june, and I'll bring back mine then.
Either Evo or Lotus seat swap, or something else decent and cheap after that.
