whatever , i wasn't the person driving on the wrong side of the road and its not like i was doing 80 in a residential like some people so chill out. Many people get tickets for speeding in town and i rarely speed in town and i've never gotten a ticket. So i hope calling me an idiot makes you feel better about yourself.

35-40 is complete bullshit. you were pullin 50 pretty easy. Which if you "know how to drive" would realize that this is double the speed limit. Which then you would realize that could classify as a felony (you did have a passanger so it would be endangerment to that person's life).
You were by no means doing 35-40, so don't even start.
Ohm is right, even thinking about doing that shit in that neighborhood is stupid due to all the elementary kids that live around there.
Yes, we all do stupid stuff. But racing side by side at an excessive rate of speed is beyond stupid.

Not to be a dick or anything but from the sounds of it, it was late outside. so there shouldnt be any kids playing out in the street anyway, and if there is the parents arent doing thier job. you can bring up "there couldve been children" " what if a kid was there" "what if this/that happened" in any situation. if you think about it, there can be kids anywhere at anytime. there wasnt any kids, no one got hurt so whats the big deal. i drive like a dumbass once in awhile, ill admit it, and i know damn well people on here have seen me do it and havent said a thing to me.
As for you Link and your "promises", if you actually intend on doing anything to him or his car, you can expect something to be done back. So if you dont want this to turn into a never ending shit show i would let this one slide bud. Not saying im gunna be doing anything, but if i have to get brought into it i wont mind backing a friend up.
He said it was him and he said it wasnt really the right thing to do and you guys still come on here and ream him about it. You guys are only doing it for your own enjoyment. I have a feeling you only posted this thread to start an arguement. The way i see it, if your gunna start a thread about this you better be posting a new thread everyday about something stupid that happened on the road. Why not ask who it was that switched lanes without using a blinker? thats illegal isnt it? how bout rolling through stop signs? cutting through parking lots to avoid lights? accelerating excessively? squealing tires? loud music? loud exhaust?
Thurmanmerman, i bet 85%+ of the poeple on here have a loud exhaust on their cars, so why complain about his? If you complain about his exhaust you should be chewing out everyone that owns a STi with STOCK exhaust, cuz thats whats on his car. I know for a fact my car is loud,i can turn my car on, let it sit in the driveway, go downstairs, turn the tv on, and still hear my car just idle there and 600 rpms. its a subaru, they all have that deep distinct rumble sound they make.
i guess im just trying to say, if chew out one person for doing something you better be getting on everyones case for doing the same thing.

As for you "dont_got_a_ride", your point is invalid. He was racing another car down a street in a residential neighborhood. I could care less if his car is loud, if he turned without a blinker, was doing 5 mph over the speed limit, or whatever else you are trying to point out. The bottom line is he was racing another car in a residential area where there are 3 schools. Racing down a street like university is one thing (still very stupid), but when you do it in an area like this, you deserve to have the shit kicked out of you and your licenses revoked for good. Shit like this is how people get injured and/or killed.

so pretty sure i wasn't going 50 mph because the car next to me was not going that fast because it can't excellerate that fast and they were next to me the whole time which was probably the length of 5 houses. lets see coliseum entrence to north entrence. pretty substantial amount of area to race. I understand everyone is worried about the kids around the area. I'll admit that was dumb but again u could say what if for any situation but nothing happened. no one hurt and nothing damaged. I'll learn from it. its not like im gonna do it again. For the comment of me "ripping up the neighborhood" i would like to know where this area is because i drive the speed limit and my car is loud but i don't go revving my engine and race around. So can we just drop it i'm done talking about it.
