        changing the head on d series non vtec to a d series vtec

          mini me swap is taking a non-vtec d-series and putting (as an example) a d16y8 or d16z6 head on it. those are vtec heads. of course you need to swap electric shit too...go on there and check em out. there are whole threads talking about the mini me.

              yeah, thats what i was kinda thinkin...d16z6 and d16y8 can be had for cheap...7th ave. auto wants $600-800 for one though so they r spendy, but if u look around they r cheaper

                    By the time you get everything you need and get everything working right its jusdt about as cheap to buy a Z6 or a Y8 motor. Their better motors anyways. A Z6 longblock can usually be had for a few hundred.

                      ya, Z6s are cheap, go look on honda tech in ther classifieds, there are alot of them in there. some of them are even built for the same price as a stock one.
