    my tracer has 208,000 miles and still gets 30mpg.

              Its had nine timing belts, I wonder how many left the owner stranded till he could get a replacement? That comet has never let her down.

                What does a timing belt snapping have to do with leaving you stranded?? You just throw a new one on and go.

                And im guessing if they made it 900k+ miles on it, they were probably decent about getting services done, which the timing belt should be done every 100k, hence 9 belts. I have never seen a timing belt snap on a honda under 140k.

                  theres 4 or 5 miatas with over 500k. one with 900k but its had like 12 transmissions or something ridiculous(some old guy who had 10 kids and let them all drive it as their first car

                  no race car? becuz homeowner...

                    That was part of the break in procedure, new timing belt at 300 miles. Everyone does that....

                            You all need to go be poor somewhere else. Why would you keep a vehicle that has over 50k miles on it? Hell, even 50k is old.
