                      I love how the haters can't see the point in swapping a proven, light, reliable, and huge potential engine like the LS motor into an awesome lightweight platform like any of the 7's

                      maybe you should go for a ride in parker's, and let the ass actually hang out....... and then still think it is pointless compared to any FWD 4 banger:rolleyes:

                        ha yeah i have a fealing it will bring many joyful moments, and possibly a few tickets.
                        actually i wish i was closer to the fm area to see what an actual swapped rx feels like, oh well, i guess that just gives me more incentive to complete mine faster. actually possibly i might be able to knock it out when im home in the fall for harvest.

                          I have no problem with boost + v8 + rwd, I loved gary's car, I definately love fc's i've wanted one for years and have been contemplating actually getting one (if i wasnt so picky)... i just think any non-rotary in a fc is lame... that's the whole purpose of the car is the unique engine...

                            You have clearly never driven a honda with some "good" mods, i'm talking good suspension and an engine that can get the car moving. i bet a crx with a b16 will destroy a v8 swaped rx7 in the corners. and you have no proof to say it can't so shut it.

                            now i love the idea of a v8 swap in a rx7, it's just that 90% of the people that do a v8 swap ruin the cars "potential" in the process. if you want to bring in the rx7's great chassis then why not also bring in the epic failer it is to put a auto into a car meant to turn? you show me a car built for turns that is auto. really there is no argument there. plus most people who swap them put in an engine that is completely backwards for the car.

                              so you are honestly going to say that a civic with whatever hp versus a swapped rx7 with an equal suspension setup is going to rape the 7 on a road coarse??? are you kidding??

                              with the swap all you are doing is gaining, and sacrificing nothing

                              and how is the v8 ruining the turning ability at all on it?? a ton of 7's with v8's keep a 50/50 distribution

                                ok honestly please tell me that a civic as a platform vs. an rx7 as a platform is superior in any sort of way in any racing category compared to the 7.....

                                a s2k is a different story

                                edit, and i see an auto car with a tight converter having no problems whatsoever

                                    No you missread what i said. i stated that most people that swap a v8 in a rx7. (cars that i have seen) do away with all that made the rx7 what it was. also show me a v8 swaped rx7 that is set up for road racing, it is far less common then a rx7 set up for drag. again i stated most.
