We have had a great start to the summer! With 2 big audio builds, 1 major performance build, along with regular appointments, we are rockin!

First is the second stage of work to the 2006 SLK350 that we previously did the staggered wheel set, lambo doors on:

They didn't make a dash kit for this car, so we fab'd one and finished in Alcantara Suede:

Fully customized trunk area utilizing MTX 6500 woofer, and Jack Hammer amplifier, fiberglass box and amp rack all covered in Alcantara Suede:

We purchased these grilles in full chrome, then took them apart and powdercoated the arms and added some plexi with OEM Mercedes emblems:

A little plexi work with our new metal car emblems:

Overall this car is coming together very well. The next stage is going to be custom interior....More pics to come....

Second build was Shaun Cardinals Impreza. He wanted something clean, functional, and show worthy. So we made a custom box that retains the use of the Cusco V brace and rear strut bar. Recarpeted the entire trunk, and made the Zucru logo out of blue and red Alcantara suede. Amp is flush mounted on the side of the trunk to keep everything 'clean':

Final build is from a FD RX7. This car received all kinds of work. From suede headliner/pillars/center console, to custom fab'd V mount up front, to Seibon Carbon hood and paint. This thing looks absolutely amazing!

Did that SLK have factory nav? Did you have any troubles with the merc computer? How is he controlling the features that the buttons where it used to be controlled?

        Looks good!

              thanks!

It did not have factory NAV. I guess he lost the phone feature... But thats about it. The P1 has Bluetooth anyway. Nothing else was lost. For now he is running the stock front speakers using the factory amp. sounds really good with a cleaner signal. No troubles with anything really. CanBus steering wheel controls are not so fun, but after programming them like 8 times, I think they are still working. :icon_rr:

We did not set up the original IC. So there really is nothing that we can show as our own. We built/finished the V-mount. Modified the Rad. build a fan shroud. fab'd a battery mount for the rear tub. mounted the AEM and made all of the front end 99spec goodies fit. Along with the Suede and other randomness.

As far as what we did under the hood... Put a gasket in where there was none from the Turbo to the Mani. Fixed some vacuum issues. put in an unbroken AIT sensor. and basically cleaned up what was going on under there. I will let the customer post up anything further on what the car has done to it.

so you didn't make the v-mount? you just made a fan shroud and did "something" to the rad.

sounds like you made a v-mount to me:drunken_smilie:

So (not to sound like a dick, because I'm being serious here...) the '1 major performance build'; is the RX-7?

Being that the other two vehicles had some sort of ICE being shown off, I would assume that you are correct.

Once again! We can only do what the customers ask us to do. Was I supposed to rip out a perfectly good intercooler that Nick made and replace it with one that we fab'd up???? The customer wanted us to "finish" the V-mount set up. So we did. That is it. I Did not take credit for the Intercooler or the piping and that is why the hood is closed. WE DID NOT MOUNT THE TURBO, INTERCOOLER, PIPING, MANIFOLD.. the car already had that done. As far as I know Nick made everything and it looks great. Just leave it alone. and I will do the same.

It was a parallel mount and they mad it into a vmount so they did make a vmount
