As far as I know. It is only Greg that makes the calls. He is the new interim owner.

Im sure I would bring 2 cars out for that.. . I just want to race. If it costs 5-10 bucks more I dont care also.. Whats 10 bucks anyways 2 beers at applebee's?* *If you are a diehard racer you wouldnt care who owns the track.. Would you rather go to souix falls? Iowa? BIR? Im sure it would cost more than 10 bucks to fuel up ur car to go somewhere else. Everyone needs to stop bitching about the price hike.

Who gives a shit you guys are a bunch of whiny fucking babies. If you wanna race, race.... if you dont because of some typical Fargo St drama then keep your ass @ home. Your luck to have a local track period!

The track is a business it has been failing for years something needed to change, changes are being made, $$$ needs to be made, get over it.

I think its great that they are attempting to keep it open, yes price raises are necessary, but the way it was abrubtly brought on was a joke and a shady business move. I don't want to support someone who does that. Besides, Drag racing is boring anyways!:icon_albino:

It's not the price hike. Hell I paid 25-30 for a session out of Tacoma Wa. It's the lack of support and the way they slammed the door in TM face. I'm sure that no one has a problem with the price, but to shut out an org that has been faithful for a few years like that... shady... just shady

Couldn't help but notice that TM is in the links section of the site. I guess that's all they get for being screwed over.

After looking at the new site it seems as though it's aimed at the old school hot rod and muscle car crowd. Instead of diversity it kind of gives the younger guys and the import/tuner scene the brush off.
And Stutsman Harley Davidson sponsored street legals gives the impression of "Bikes only" which for some might seem cool, but for others, not so much.

Sterling Archer: Oh my god! You killed a hooker!
                                Cyril Figgis: Call girl!
Sterling Archer: No Cyril! When they're dead they're just hookers!

I agree, the only reason I have a gripe is because of the way it went down. Not the price increase, not the change of sponsors....just the BS surrounding it all. TM isn't w/o drama, but this was one case that I think they got the short end of the stick.

I also think that people not going has a lot to do with most street cars, not being able to pass the tech since it's more strict, and I doubt a lot of ppl will wanna spend all the extra money to make it that way, just to race for fun... Which takes out most of the people that aren't building cars that are pretty much for drag only...

The reason I was flaming was it seems this dude just came on here solely to advertise his event and contribute nothing else to this site...

Sorry guys I hadn't had a chance to reply to your questions, or interact with your comments. Here's the deal, I'm not the owner, I'm the new track announcer I don't know what went down, so I can't comment on it. All I know is I met Greg a couple of months ago and he's a great guy with a lot of great ideas. Owning a business isn't all it's cracked up to be, and sometimes you have to make unpopular decisions, for the betterment of your company. I'm a racing fan period. And I used to race at this track in high school, and after I graduated, we used to drive from Wadena to the track, with barely enough gas to get home. That track has a family feeling, there's a sense of competition, and comaraderie. It doesn't matter whether you're driving a moped or a viper. We're trying to build this track back up, we would like your input.
