Good job finding those defects. I'll give you a bit harder task this time, my Lgt has an ej20g engine that came with a tdo5 turbo, can you find any those with major defects on forums?

The truth is both cars are very good. The speed6 is better at handling than a Legacy GT. The Legacy gt has a mod friendly engine (no doubt b/c of the STI aftermarket), it does not have a 6 speed manual. Stock for stock it's a drivers race period! Drive both cars and pick the one that's the best for you.

You should look into stock legacy intercoolers exploding, or the powerloss issue. I have never broke the rear end or an axle. I only sheared the bolts. The turbo seals thing is annoying, but I'll prolly upgrade at some point anyway.Don't be a Fan Boy, especially if you have never driven a MS6. If you had you'd discover stock for stock they out handle and out brake all legacies...
Btw, what was your best 60' time with the amazing Subaru AWD system. Like 2.6sec? Ok then, don't be a dick towards me Derek.
Mazdaspeed6;281730 wrote:
The EVO X makes the STI AWD system look super gay. What's your point? My key pass system, stability control, handling, brakes, BOSE system all crap on the Legacy. Does the legacy gt even come with HID's stock? How many airbags?
Does that mean the Legacy is gay? No, it just has different strengths.
Mazdaspeed6;281731 wrote:
Well, then I guess you shouldn't be so quick to diss...Mazdaspeed6;281853 wrote:
If you looked at my original post, I was just saying saying that that the AWD system is not pure crap. You act like you run 1.3's all day long. When you likely only had a marginally better time than mine with a lighter, faster car with better tires.
Mazdaspeed6;281855 wrote:
Ok, by admitting your a Fanboy, you're admitting you can't make fair comparisons between 2 cars...Why are you cocking off on fargostreet, when you could have dissed my car in person Derek? I don't understand people that knock cars worth multiples of their own... Or don't even thank someone for lending them a welder... I have never been anything but respectful to you. Even when you were afraid to race me, b/c your REX wasn't up to the task or broken or something, I didn't diss your car.
I like having HID's and 8 airbags to protect myself. The fake tips are no big deal, the Lexus IS-F has them and anyone with common sense would rock an IS-F over an Legacy.
You don't read very many magazines, the Evo X almost always comes out on top.
You don't know very much about my car. You can't seem to wrap your head around the fact that my car is not reflective of the entire MS6 population. The highest dyno so far is 386whp, do you think that was done with a few bolt ones? The fastest stock MS6 run is 13.53 . My car, stock for stock will outhandle, and out brake a Spec B, and run door to door down the strip. The stock stereo and keypass sytem blow the suby out of the water too...
That being said, G/L to the OP with his purchase! Sounds like you're being smart and not overpaying...

In the real world you can't state facts with out backing them Derek. You have only stated Fanboy opinions...Wow, you have trouble reading. You said "how come you cant really mod the ms6 besides a few small bolt on crap?" Now connect that with the 386whp statement. That was done with an upgraded turbo, I'm sure I could dig up a link for you, but you still won't admit you spoke without knowing what you're talking about will you?
You don't like the intercooler design, what are you an engineer now or something? You don't even know the difference between a pipe and a duct wow...
Ironic you mention, a 2.6 sec 60' time. Did you not tell me in person that that's what you ran with your WRX? With your omg amazing AWD system lol...
I have launched many times since the bolts sheared 2 years ago, and my rear end is still fine. Thanks for your concern... I would be happy to race a Spec B at the track. I'll even demod to make it fair.
My AWD goes 50/50, it does amazing in the snow and ice, whether you handle that. With the stability control it may be even better than a Legacy GT in the snow

Come on, I want to see all these magazines ranting about how the EVO X has an worse AWD system than the STI... Derek are you there?
BTW, the south will never rise again...:)

Let's talk about your car for awhile. Why is your BMW sooooo amazing? How much did you pay for it? You should get your annoying exhaust fixed. Wait, it doesn't rattle anymore? How did that get resolved?
