Yeah I saw this last week. Bunch of fucking crooks and clowns running the show.

DeMint has introduced S 604, which is the counterpart to Ron Pauls HR 1207, a bill trying to audit the Federal Reserve. Incidentally, a Federal Reserve audit has huge bi-partisan support in the house (over 260 co-sponsors, and you only need 245 votes to pass), but the Fed is holding the purse for everything Pelosi and Obama want to spend money on; they're never going to let anyone see how the fed works or what it spends money on if they can help it.

Like HR1207, S604 will probably never see the floor so here he is trying to wedge in the FR audit as an amendment to some other legislation that is on the floor.

The Dems object, saying that sort of language is inappropriate in this bill, to which he responds by pointing out all of the places they are already doing it for *their *pet causes.

There is no response or retort -- they're crooks and they know it and they don't care because the American people don't care. They have no impetus to change.

The whole lot of them needs to be fired.

Last week I emailed Dorgan and Conrad about S604 and told them I want them to support it. Haven't heard back yet [Dorgan has been good about getting back to me, usually].

I just saw that Pomeroy voted against the health care nightmare [in committee]. Good for him. I hope it's not just posturing.

yeah isnt that something? Jim is one of the few good strong voices in the senate that is fighting to keep america great and look at the way the dems are simply ignoring the minority. This HAS to be done! Did you know that over the last 6 months, the Fed, that has no oversight by anybody, has loaned out 2 TRILLION dollars, and they will not say to whom and no body has any idea! An audit will be done, after november of next year, then there will be so many people going to jail it wont even be funny
