So since i didnt go through with getting another car, I decided to have a little fun with my DD. Since the TBSS is such a good performer i thought what the hell, ill see what we can do with the little I6. Parts will be coming this week and ill be putting stuff on a little at a time. I plan to just have some fun at the Auto-x course, and want to run 13s. Next year maybe ill put a little spray on it and go for 12s! I will update this thread as stuff comes and is installed

My shocks were getting pretty spongy so i ordered a set of Bilstein HD yellow tubes. Put them in today, the GMT 360 uses a groove cut into the strut body and a snap ring to locate the lower spring mount. I cut a new groove .755" lower on the body for a full 3/4" drop. Then i knocked about 2/3 of a coil off the springs. As measured at the bumper it gave 2.2" drop total, and 1.8" at the wheelwell.

Rear i took 1/2 coil off and bolted up the shocks, for a 2.8" drop at the bumper, 2.5" at the wheelwell. The framerails are almost perfectly level now and it cut the fender gap more than in half. I would go lower, maybe next year but i wanted to see how it was this winter first

After driving it today i must say, holy shit its different. The ride is not smooth, but just right for me, and there is little body roll anymore. Brake dive has been minimized greatly and i can now go around corners in town at 25mph without slowing down, and not tip the thing over. If you have one of these i highly suggest the TBSS shocks or the Bilstein HDs, there were times before i thought the thing was gonna float off the road. Once the new rims/tires arrive it should finish it out nicely

SCCA rules. I know the allow the Lightning and Silverado SS. They where the only truck/suv that I know of being allowed.

God those things nose dive a lot on stock suspension tho, i bet it is a lot better now. Get some pics.
