I'm moving in to my own house this weekend, and need some lawn essentials.

I'm new to this, where do you guys buy your lawn equiptment? I need a mower, probably a weed eater, and I will for sure be needing a snow blower this fall/winter.

I know sears will price match online. Anyone find any good deals online?

    Any tips?

i bought a wal-mart lawn mower 8 years ago for $99. I think i had to drain the oil when i moved.

I've had to drill new holes and insert new bolts in the rear height adjustment assembly last summer as the thin metal pins there sheared off, and i should probably replace the blade, but it still mows. It stalls on tall/wet grass just as often as my friends fancy-ass Ariens self-drive lawnmower.

Depending on how much sidewalk you need to clear, a good blower is way more important than a good mower.

we had everything from sears, probably paid more then we might have else where. but our blower was i think 13 hp and would just plow threw 5' high snow drifts. well worth the money to get a good blower.

lawn mower and weed wacker worked good. the weedwacker was a bitch to get started for the first few times a year. but then again we never drained the gas at the end of the year...... lol
