Ufc 101

Worst fights i have ever seen.
griffin should quit.
and Penn is still a bitch.

I was hoping Griffin was going to make it an interesting fight, but he looked like a 6th grade kid against Silva. It was unbelievable the difference in their standup skill level. Griffin should have at least tried to take it to the ground once and see what would have happened, he prob would have got submitted, but at least he wouldn't have looked like a quitter.
I was figuring Penn was going to take Florian apart, I was surprised that it took well into the 4th before they went to the ground. Once on the ground it was all over quickly, the standup was fairly uninteresting.
Some of the prelim fights were ok, overall ufc 101 was just "ok" in my opinion.

forrest has never really been a good fighter, just lucky, and can take a hell of a beating,
The fight would've went longer but Forrest broke his jaw on that last punch, thats the reason he ran out of the arena.

His jaw is fine.
Forrest Griffin’s Jaw Not Injured In UFC 101 KO Loss to Anderson Silva

According to Joe Ferraro of Sportsnet’s “MMA Connected”, Griffin’s jaw is “fine”:
Source has confirmed that the reports that Forrest has a broken jaw and was the reason he ran out of the octagon are false. His jaw is fine. -
It just proves what an animal Silva is. He was toying with Griffin the whole fight. The dude knocked him down, tried to help him back up, and then knocked him on his ass again. Thankfully, it sounds like Silva will be moving up full time to light heavyweight. Maybe he'll finally get some decent competition.

Roy Jones Jr. should meet him in the octagon.....
