      At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

          That's nasty. But how stupid do you have to be to put a rag on a chain while it's moving? Durrrrr. No shit it's gunna get caught.

            Even so think about how exactly you would have to put you hand on that chain in order to run it through the sprocket. I clean my bicycle chain that way and the rag gets caught all the time but only the rag goes through the gear not my hand. Because my hand is outside the chain not inside it. I know it problably wouldn't cut my fingers off but it probably wouldn't feel too good either.
