Dave, I think you just created the worlds next extreme sport (with Scott's help)

Kind of turning my comments around aren't you 2 wheeler? Motorcycles really don't want to run into each other do they? I love bike racing its something i want to do, but when is the last time you saw rossi smashing people out of the way. There is a time and place for every thing. F1 isn't the place where you want to make contact. It is a totally different style of racing. I agree f1 isn't for every one. But before just bashing it maybe give it a chance and see what its all about. And just a bunch of suits driving around pissing on each other. Thats just ignorance. Not trying to be a dick but thats what it is. I really wish people could discuss things on here with out it turning into a pissing match. Done talking about racing. "DRAGOOOOOOOOOO..."hey your right, Stallone quotes.

Fuck all of you!!! I Like F1 AND Nascar AND Moto GP AND....... All of them there forms of dems der motorsport.
They all take talent. Nascar gets a bum rap quite a bit for being smash n crash racing. While there is a lot more contact in that form of racing than in other forms. Its by design. Thats with NEARLY all forms of circle track racing from its inception. I do admit that the "contact" is part of what makes the excitement but it isnt all of it. As boring as you purists are, you have to admit that what you consider a broing form of racing would be even worse if there wasnt ANY contact between drivers. As far a smash to pass goes, its no worse than Mark Weber making his car twice as wide as the car really is to keep people from passing him. not having fenders has kept a lot of open wheelers from having way worse finishes. You dont know how many times Ive seen the exact senario play out where I wasnt wishing someone would nudge the guy to get the spot when he was clearly faster.
I watch both F1 and Nascar religiously and watch a lot of motorcyle racing and rally when I can. I am glued to speed channel and espn on racedays. I can appreciate all of them.
I wish there was more rally coverage on Speed like it was in years past tho. I love endurance racing too. sweet shit but it can be more boring than Nascar even.

I bet NASCAR vs F1 will be decided once for all in this thread.just like everything else that is brought up on this thing?
scott fargostreet is a pissing match.. thinking otherwise is ignorant.
and dirt track ftw.. thats even more fun then nascar and its six bucks. its more enjoyable because it is about the driver not the multi trillion dollar conglomerates that are behind him... the way nascar used to be...

Ok, I'll bite.

Explain please, Naturalbornkeller (or, Scott)?naturalbornkeller;293981 wrote:

IMHO, NASCAR drivers don't WANT to run into each other either. In doing so, they risk damaging their cars as well, and possibly crashing out of the race. However, their cars allow them to do so, to a point, and when two racers both want the same real estate.......naturalbornkeller;293981 wrote:

Were was I "bashing" F1? -
See now you understand the point i was trying to make. F1 cars no rubbing, nascars much rubbing. The difference in the design allows one or the other. "Crimes a disease, i'm the cure." Stallone (Cobra). You were right about the Stallone quotes, just can't get enough. Everybody is right F1 sucks, thats why i'm only watching lawnmower racing from now on. Thats where the action is, Screw all that high-tech F1 racing. Nobody likes technology anyway, especially young people. Going to sit on my davenport and listen to Kiss "Destroyer" on 8-track. Oh yeah, having realized Fargo Street is a pissing match, I wrote "I really wish people could discuss things on here with out it turning into a pissing match". Reading and Interpreting. Lets hear it for our public schools!!!!!!!!

Cool,Dave, I used to have Alive and Alive II, on double record set. Alive II still had the tatoos in it. Got Rock and Roll Over on 8-track as well. "Yo Mick" Stallone. Down hill thighmaster racing is where its at.

Argentine driver Jose Maria Lopez has reportedly signed to race with the USF1 team in 2010.
The 26-year-old former GP2 driver, who has recently been racing in his country's touring car championship, must complete a $8m sponsorship package but has signed documentation at the team's Charlotte base, the Corsa publication said.
"The agreement with the American team is done," said Carlos Garcia Remohi, an official with the Argentine club.
"We have a week to finish collecting the budget."
Lopez, who occasionally tested with Renault a few years ago, was pictured by the ambito.com website standing at the USF1 entrance with principals Ken Anderson and Peter Windsor.
"To be specific, at this moment we lack about 20 per cent of the budget," Lopez's father confirmed.

Bullshit. Despain along with Varsha have been talking about this for well over a month now. The shit really started to fall apart in mid January when a key sponsor (who it is I dont know) failed to come through with it's commitment and that was desperate needed funding. Hell, the FIA released IT'S official release that USF1 wouldnt be running in the beginning of March and everyone who was watching them knew well in advance of this that they werent going to make it this year.
