Alright I'm gonna resurect this post!!! Is there anyway around a proxy block? They blocked myspace at school and I've been using anonymos browsing sites but I think they blocked the whole proxy

When I went to school there, I ran a proxy server on my computer at home.

The funny thing was, I told like three people, and by two weeks later I had like a 100 people connecting to my server and trying to use it...

So yeah, you guys can set one up yourself, it's easy enough to do, I think I started in 7th grade using them, so I'm sure you can figure it out. Google it up, read up, and do it.

Aahh, I remember those days, trying to get around internet restrictions. Ours weren't so strict in Maple Grove, but they limited more of what we could do on the computers. No right click for example. That sucked.

just find an active proxy list on the web and you should be good...thats what i did when i was at brown...sadly in a school full of nerds i was the first one to get around our blocks...
