Wanted: Honda shell

SLS is great, you guys kick ass, and it's one of my favorite places to hang out and bs with brian,kevin,johnson,aaron,jeremy etc etc. But even YOU know that we all have to start somewhere. I have passed my ricing stage and want to get into race, which is YOUR expertise. I would love to hear more about things and learn more from you, and I respect the fact that u started that shop and now have a well-running business, but why do you have to hate on the newbie???

I've seen this way to many times that now everyone thinks they can buy shells and piece them together. Look @ Tony for example they;ve been working ont hat car for months dumping thousands of dollars into it and cant get it running. Look @ Aaron herelately who bought a car w/ trans problems and has had to pull the trans 4X now to get it working right. We've had 2 customers lately who have tried to piece motors and shit together and ended up spending thousands of dollars and now having to start all over because they lacked the knowledge of procedures that needed to be done. Do you have all the tools necessary to work on the car? Do you have a place for the car to sit/work on the car? Do youhave the knowledge to install a headgasket? Timing belt? Cams? Etc....
You guys are way better off buying quality running cars and working/learning from there.
