Cell phone tracking

Please help me...no bullshit stupid posts just to get your post count up and have me sit here and think of how cool you are. Look, my sis ran off with a boy (shes 16) stealing my daily driver (she doesnt have her license, just a permit) and shes somewhere headed south, last we heard she is in south dakota...guys, I never ask anything from you people, at least be serious with me on this, im worried for her and extremely pissed off, as are my parents.

Well the cops are already involved, there are APB's on all interstates / highways. Its a waiting game but because she is my sister I wanted to see if I could surface any info on locating her. I want to feel useful here...I dont like sitting around and doing nothing.
Thats where the last credit card transaction was, we have since disabled the account from being used, so shes SOL wherever she is, last we know is she was down by hankinson. the boy is from west fargo high, hes 16, name is Alec Breyer.

Assuming you or your parents are in control of the account contact the cell provider. Past that, it's in Law Enforcement's hands. -
You'd think the first thing your parents or police would do is call your cell phone company and see what tower they're getting service off of.
Not sure WHY you'd cancel her bank acct...since that seems to be your only means of tracking her thus far...

Nobody other than the service provider will be able to track the phone's signal and see what towers it is in range of...Nobody here will be able to help you.

IE, phone is on, they can "ping" the phone and see where it responds from. If YOU or your family called, they probably aren't taking it overly serious. If the police call, they might be a little more serious about tracking the phone.

So they did finally confirm that if we wanted to press felon charges they would locate her, she has been caught in sioux city SD, tracing the phone woulda done nothing for us...she threw her phone outta the car while she was driving...ugh...fuckin 16yr old girls...im just glad that my sister is finally safe and in jail being held until the parents go and get her. I cant even imagine how bad this coulda been...
