battery kill switch
-
I'm thinking of relocating my battery to the trunk. But do the drags in the area require kill switches for test and tunes and street leagal races ? I'm mainly talking about i drags but if i wanted to go to rock falls or someplace else i would hate to make the drive to find out i couldn't race.

I know if it is factory you don't need it. Otherwise, for any NHRA event, you are supposed to comply to the rules. There are specific mounting requirments and blah blah for batteries that may be inforced depending on the track and tech. inspector. If you have a hatch, the battery must be in a sealed container also.

From mounting batteries in the back, the best way IS to get a kill switch. I had a flaming river one that was expensive, but really nice. Also, I would look into a Moroso box as the tracks don't ask questions when you have your battery mounted in one of those.
