Alltel==>AT&T

Do you work at Alltel/AT&T ?
Noooooo, my wife was in there just the other day trying to figure out what was best for her since. We have Alltel and her phone is up for renewal but wants to wait and see how AT&T is before extending the contract but her phone is not real good. I'm guessing AT&T is going to bust their ass and try real hard on customer service for the 30 day grace period we have so people don't get out their of contract and them bam back to all the bad stuff we are hearing about them know. I guess I'll wait and see, my phone and internet contractr is up in July so I'm not too worried just have had no issues with Alltel for 8 years so I'll have one of those old grumpy man "I fear change" attitudes.So if anyone has an Alltel smart phone they would sell cheap I'd buy one, (of course she wants a Blackberry again anything would work).

Everyone I know has switched to Verizon.... I'd recommend the same to everyone who hasn't.

Plus, we each get a new AT&T phone for free during the crossover, so it's a win-win for now. I guess we'll see how it goes once AT&T has the reins.

If you liked Alltel, and are hoping for service like that, I'd just switch to Verizon now and save the hassle.

So I'll load up a whole bunch of games on the phones we get (we both picked the Htc Aria) then I'll have a handheld game to play solitaire and angry birds. I'm guessing AT&T will lock them so it would be useless to sell.
