what antifreeze to use?

I am low on coolant in my bike. The book says use 50% distilled water, and 50% antifreeze.........but what kind of antifreeze...or are they all the same

They're not all the same. Chances are it means the green antifreeze. Ethylene glycol. It's probably the cheapest stuff.

You shouldn't use Dexcool in cooling systems that are designed for ethylene glycol. For damn sure don't mix the two types.
