For a blown 427 LS1, thos numbers could be better. He will be happier with the F1....or a D1.

More than likely a C5R block stroked to a 427.

          C5R block, dart sleeves, etc.

Thank you for pointing this out. I'm sure your LS1 walks all over this one.

Just FYI- The customer put the combo together, I just tuned it. The P1 is out of steam, and reaches full boost (a whopping 8 psi) @ 4800. Calculated impeller speed on the blower is 65,xxx, which means it is spinning as fast as it can (too fast). IATs increase linear in relation to boost as well (more than normal). It is causing a restriction up top. The F1 (with a different impeller) will be better suited, but it was what was on the car yesterday. It will be retuned again when the new blower is installed (a couple months...)?)

Very impressive, especially for one of them thar 8 cylinder engines. 🙂 Is it a auto or 6-speed?

that P1 is overworked...he should of ran a D1sc or even a F1R...is the intercooler setup just like the vette style?

When did my car come into play? I don't even own an LS1, but you made a pretty good guess.

All I was saying was for a blown 427, the numbers could be higher. I was just agreeing with you, that it needs a bigger blower, thats why I suggested a D1. sorry for throwing in my opinion. There is no need to get personal.

For a P1, those numbers are pretty good however.

Pretty cool Andy! Now tell that guy to get the bigger blower on there so we can see some really nice numbers.
