There has been alot of good and bad comments on Marks car! The car will be perfect!!! The color is similar to Lambo, good luck matching it, we tweeked it! As far as, Straight Line! I would hope you are smart enough to remove your comments, and try to avoid street smack, refering to Odden's or any other shop! There is such a thing as Slander, I defend my company, and will Not accept it! This site is a great thing for everyone in the area to communicate with each other, no need to create unfounded smack! Oddens is one of biggest reasons why imports were catored to this year at Toppers, and will be in the future. Toppers was informed of the words spoken. There position is that anyone creating negitive unfounded smack will not be accepted to their show. Oddens Rod Shop supports this theory and also will not deal with individuals with nothing better to do with their time! Otherwise, anyone with a true passion for cars, and can appreciate a car for what it is and who owns, is more than welcome in our shop! Sincerely!!! Jeff OddenIf at the time people saw it and it was not perfect, you should not be crying about it. Slander.......hahahaha

i can agree with u there its not slander its somone else's opinion about a shop not everyones, i like odens and sls and tint masters the all have very good product that come out of there shops so let people comment about it, its there opinion so let them have it thats what freedom of speach is
Right???? -
I think someone's jealous that they're car could never look as nice.... hmmm....
-
Jeff, not to be an ass here, but there is almost no way that the car can be perfect. There are gaps in both the taillight pans and the gas filler cap....not huge gaps but big enough to where he will have no legitimate chance at winning a national show. Yes, around here he will win a few but he is a LONG ways from the big time. This isn't meant as slander, I'm just pointing out things that I would have wanted done better. His car looks nice, no doubt about it (though I'm not a fan of some of the mods he did) but I don't understand how it can be perfect w/ stripping the paint and closing some gaps. IMHO I think Mark should have just said "take your time and do it right, if it can't be ready for the show, so be it, I want it perfect or I don't want it at all" Maybe he didn't do that, maybe he was bound and determined to have his car in toppers...I don't know. At any rate good luck with the finishing touches on the car and I HOPE you prove me wrong.

Me? 99slowgsx? PSI2HI?
I think somebody needs to know who they are making comments to before they say them. Your opening a whole another can of worms here...
-
i'm not sure if anyone on this website is jealous of that car at all....but i do know that car could be mistaken for a road block for a construction site!
-
not that I want to get involved in this too much, but i figured I would throw in something. I do not want to hate on anyone's car and by making this comment I am not. I am in/have been in other buisness law classes. I just want to clear up the def. of slander. Something can not be slander if it is true. So if you know a guy that has a 2" dick and you want to pay 3 thousand dollars to put up a billboard... (assuming it wasn't profane, this is just an extreame example) by law it is not slander becasue it is true. I didn't read anyone's comments close so i don't know if they are true or not, but i figured i would give somebody the insite of what slander really is. Truth is the ultimate defence to slander no matter what.

Peoples opinion and talking smack are two different things, the comments made about marks car are way out of line i feel, sure right now there are some MINOR,FIXABLE flaws, but i guarantee that jeff, glenn, tim, and ed are going to make that car look absolutely perfect. I dont understand why it seems on this site as soon as people get something most of the people on here it seems like try to rip it apart.

I was makin it to the guy who was totally dissin mark's car, cause from what I know, SLS is all go, no show, but the other groups are both, or just show... Mark has one of the nicest cars right now, same with the S2K and a few others, it's just to what extent, there's an Integra thats Navy blue and has body kit and whatever, my bf is friends with him, it's pretty nice looking.... hey.. Jim, were you drivin a yellow evo earlier this week or so? I think I saw you.....

BUT if I spent as much money on that car as him, I would want it perfect. The topic of this thread is about a car show. What do you do at car shows? you critique cars......... So in my opinion the car has flaws for the money he spent. I hope they get it fixed.

I agree with you, they can make that car look perfect, it is possible. I don't see how it's not. there's alot of cars that can be perfect, BUT, there will always be someone who doesn't think it is... and thats their problem then I guess.... and, about the car shops, I know I have herd bad things about SLS, but oh well. there's gonna be I'm not gonna say though that they're a bad company, cause I don't know. but ya know, just don't totally put down a company just cause they were rushed...
