Sounds like fun to think back on some of my past vehicles...
My first vehicle I ever owned was a '91 Ford Explorer. I had lots of good times on the back woods trails in Northern Minnesota with that thing... I looked it up in car fax on the internet not too long ago (I still have the vin #) and it looks like it was involved in a rollover back in '02 and I assume totaled... Kinda sad. I put about 50,000 miles on the thing before I got rid of it. It was in tough shape at that time too.
My next vehicle I bought while I still had the Explorer was my '87 Stang that I still have. You can find information on that in my introduction to this forum.
While I had both of those, I also traded a .243 Winchester Rifle for a '80 Mustang Ghia Hatchback with a 3.3 liter (200 cubic inch) straight 6 and a c4 automatic. That thing was in bad bad shape... I got it back to running and driving condition and sold it. I have many funny stories about that car I'll have to share at some point.
I traded in the '91 Explorer on a '95 Ford Mustang. 3.8 liter v6, auto... nothing fancy. I put true duals on it with the GT stainless exhaust tips, other then that I didn't do a whole lot with that car.
Then I traded in the '95 Mustang on an '04 Focus ZX3 and put 17" SVT rims and a SVT badge on the back to try and fake some people out. It actually worked was the funny thing... It's actually still at the dealership I traded it off at 4 months ago - Corwin Chrysler/Dodge. They list it as just a regular ZX3 on the website, but somebody I know from work went looking at cars there and the salesman was trying to tell him it was a real SVT.
They are asking way too much for the car...Like I said, I traded the Focus off on a '98 Ford Expedition. It's got the big 5.4 liter with 3.73's in the rear end. It's gonna be my tow rig to pull the Stang to the drag strip.

Honestly when I was looking to buy my first Stang, I was looking for a '64 - '66 Coupe or Fastback but I ended up finding the '87 in such nice shape that I couldn't pass it up.
I would be interested in seeing pix of the '72 convertible if you have any. I always know someone that is interested in buying a Stang...
What color ext/int? 302 2bbl? auto? What is he looking to get for it?
My fiancee would probably shoot me if I buy another car right now.
I am not the biggest fan of the 70's style coupe or convertible... but it's still a Stang, so I still like them.
