I havent seen a stock production civic si with 180hp... that guys an idiot. Didnt mitsubishi have a hand in on making that daytona engine? I kow they helped with the new srt-4 engine.

Lets face it folks times are changing... the japanese are creating muscle cars that can still get 20+mpg and burn up the track. I wish these backwoods redneck fucksticks like this dude would just realize that muscle cars died with their grandparents.

      I ride random bitches.

Let's compare 2 of the more weaker jap imports to the 2 superior american muscle cars. Awesome page, fag tart.

I agree...next time I'd like to see them compare an Evo or STi motor to those. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't most USDM honda motors built in Ohio? If so, aren't they basically talking bad about the american automakers? I might be wrong, about where they are built...I'm going off memory and don't really pay much attention to hondas since I don't own one.

American cars had them, too, in Auburns and Dusenbergs, just to name two. In the '70s, Americans could buy a compact car with an all-aluminum 16 valve DOHC, EFI engine that could turn 8,000 RPM. Sound's like an Integra of today, doesn't it? Surprise! it was the Chevy Cosworth Vega

ok....if he is trying to compare an integra to a vega he needs to be hit in the head with a tackhammer.

This is probably one of the weaker rants I have read on the import vs domestic crap. I cannot believe he actually sat down and typed all that thinking he was going proving a point.

Getcher green hat, we are goin fishin.

In high school we were asked what kind of car has the most american made parts on it (as a sort of trivia question) and I guess its the honda civic...just thought id throw that in there... 😛

The "American" car he was talking about making over 200 horses in the Spirit and Daytona was powered by a Lotus engine. And everyone knows how RELIABLE the quad4 has proven itself to be. They have got to be one of the biggest mistakes to ever grace an engine bay. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a domestic hater, I actually wouldn't mind a few certain cars that are american made. But, it's just not my first choice of vehicles to mod/race or whatever anymore.

The import domestic debate is lame. Just like what you like, no need to bash others for liking what they want to.

Spec C's have smaller wings, are RHD, are JDM only (I believe...the Europeans may get a version of it) . The Spec C WRX is the best 2.0 liter car on the planet. Period.

FWIW you can now buy (or will be able to soon) an easystreet tuned wrx from select dealers. That car should be badass too.
